Jason grew up playing drums in rock, jazz, blues, orchestra and punk bands since the age of 14. He continued playing and studying music to pay his way through college where he studied Mechanical Engineering and Physics at Purdue University. It didn’t take long before the combination of music and science took hold and catapulted him into the recording studio where he was quickly drawn to engineering records and the technical aspects of music production.
After moving around the United States most of his young life, Jason settled down in Los Angeles in the mid-90’s where he began his film music career working with composer Mark Mancina. Shortly thereafter he submerged himself into music editing and has been cutting ever since.
