Will began his career as a professional musician at the age of 14 in Chicago. He received his degree from James Madison University in Film and Television Production. Returning to Chicago after college, he worked as a jingle writer and live action producer for Robert Richter and Friends while writing and performing with his original band. 

After moving to Los Angeles, Will was fortunate enough to fall in with legendary music editor Bob Badami, who took him under his wing. Some of the directors Will has worked for include Steven Spielberg, Alejandro Inarritu, Shane Black, JJ Abrams, Tony Scott and Warren Beatty. In addition to long term stints with composers Richard Gibbs and Trevor Rabin, Will has been on the teams for Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Nick Cave, Tyler Bates, Ludwig Goransson, Andrew Lockington, Chris Beck and John Debney. He has composed several dozen source pieces for projects over the years.

Will has been housed on the Warner Lot as a consultant for many years and, along with Jason Ruder, launched 2Pop Music in 2011. He is married to vocalist Ember Vaughan.
